How Current Is the Information?
Public rolls are corrected, portals change, office procedures move, and historical collections can be reorganized. The Middletown Assessor, Town Clerk, Registrars, court clerk, Vital Statistics office, and libraries remain the controlling sources for their own records. We try to update the reference, but no detail is guaranteed to be current. Confirm a record with the custodian before relying on it.

The pages point to the offices, libraries, and portals that hold those materials. For an applicable non-confidential record, the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act, Conn. Gen. Stat. §§ 1-200 through 1-242, including §§ 1-210, 1-212, and 1-206, provides an access route. Vital records remain subject to Conn. Gen. Stat. § 7-51a, voter data to §§ 9-50a, 9-50b, and 9-50d and Public Act 26-1 § 96, and motor-vehicle information to 18 U.S.C. §§ 2721-2725. Obtaining, verifying, or correcting a record requires direct contact with its custodian.
